Ashley applies expertise at the intersection of cultural change, politics and technology to steer networks of influence, protect our democracy and build Black political power.

She fought for years to make her voice—and all Black voices—heard in white spaces, first in the corporate world and then in politics. Now, Ashley’s creating transformative spaces that uplift BIPOC voices, while empowering progressive orgs to center BIPOC audiences in their work and communications.

Currently a Managing Partner at A—B, Ashley leads the campaign practice helping organizations develop meaningful engagement to invite participation in social justice and politics to create new narratives. She is also co-founder of Win Black, a national coalition and rapid content operation dedicated to campaigners across the country in order to counter misinformation, a form of digital voter suppression, targeted to Black voters.

Her 15+ years of experience includes roles as Ohio Digital Director for President Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign, VP at 270 Strategies, and Federal Digital Director at MoveOn. She’s been recognized by Advertising Age as one of 40 under 40 Marketing Leaders, one of "50 Women Who Made the 2012 Election by the Huffington Post, and "Top 20 in their 20's" by Crain’s Chicago Business.  She was also a recent visiting fellow at Harvard University’s Ash Center for Technology.

Ashley is a confidant and co-conspirator; someone established leaders and upstarts alike turn to for support and solutions. Authentic relationships are the cornerstone of her political practice.
